Los Angeles Public Library

Latino Outreach Campaign

Services

Industry

Nearly half of Los Angeles identifies as Latino or Hispanic, with many households speaking Spanish at home and living in multigenerational settings. Economic barriers and the digital divide remain persistent challenges—making equitable access to culturally relevant, free library resources more important than ever.

OBJECTIVE
Connect Latino residents—especially bilingual and Spanish-speaking families, multigenerational households, and low-income patrons—with free educational programs, digital resources, and family-centered services available at the Los Angeles Public Library.

Wicked Bionic partnered with the Los Angeles Public Library to create a bilingual, culturally authentic campaign that used family-focused creative and Spanish-language messaging to engage Latino communities. Spanning digital, social, and outdoor media, the campaign elevated awareness of LAPL’s free programs supporting heritage, education, and community resilience.

IMPACT
The Latino Outreach efforts generated millions of impressions and strong engagement across underserved neighborhoods. By meeting families where they are—with accessible, trusted resources—Wicked Bionic helped LAPL bridge gaps in digital literacy, economic opportunity, and cultural connection.
