Learn the Signs of Child Trafficking

OBJECTIVE
Los Angeles County faces a devastating and often overlooked crisis: child trafficking. Children are being trafficked directly out of their high schools, often by people they know or trust—including, in some cases, their own parents—and lured by offers that seem too good to be true. Despite the severity of the issue, most people don’t know what to do when they see something suspicious. Aside from calling an 800 number, there’s little public awareness around what action to take—or what signs to even look for.
In partnership with the Los Angeles County Probation Department and the Department of Children and Family Services, Wicked Bionic developed the Know to Say No campaign to raise awareness about human trafficking and empower communities to recognize the signs.
We focused on education, not fear—delivering clear, accessible messaging to help parents, educators, and teens understand what trafficking looks like and how to respond.
IMPACT
The campaign reached over 318,000 people, driving them to knowtosayno.com to learn actionable steps for recognizing and responding to child trafficking. By putting this knowledge directly in the hands of those most likely to witness it, we empowered entire communities to become part of the solution.
